Cancellation Policy

Full charge if cancelled within 1 day of arrival.

Partial charge - 50% of Full Stay if cancelled between 2-14 days of arrival date.

No charge if cancelled 14 days prior to arrival date.

*Large party bookings (4 or more rooms or stays longer than 3 days) a 10% non-refundable deposit is required the day of booking. Six months prior to reservation a 40% additional deposit will be charged and 30 days prior to reservation the remaining balance will be charged to the card on file.*  Multi-night reservations will not be refunded after check-in. NO EXCEPTIONS. 

 

Please call if you will be arriving later than 9 pm to make arrangements for check in.

Weather-Related Power Outages Policy

Due to the remoted location and natural beauty of our area, weather conditions can occasionally result in unexpected power outages such as electricity, cable, heat and water.  While we make every effort to ensure a comfortable stay and promptly address such disruptions, The Carter Inn does not offer refunds or discounts for power outages caused by weather or events beyond our control.  Your understanding and cooperation help us continue to offer a warm and welcoming experience even when nature has other plans.
